Osmanthus Rain at Manjuelong Village
Smell of autumn in Hangzhou is the fragrance of Osmanthus flowers. As you walk down the streets of Hangzhou, everywhere filled with light fragrance of sweet scent. You will feel refreshing and all the stress will go away. Manjuelong Village is the best place for you to appreciate the sweet osmanthus. Manjuelong Village was built during the Ming dynasty,it’s known for its osmanthus trees. In 1984,the osmanthus tree was chosen as the city flower of Hangzhou, and therefore it was listed in “New Ten Veiws of West Lake”.
North Mountain
Hangzhou is a mountainous city, but North Mountain is unique. In autumn, all over the mountains are in full swing since the fall of the leaves. From one thousand years of history, people built many temples and pavilions on the mountain. It is testimony to the Hangzhou’s bustling history. Many historical figures have been here, they wrote many stories and beautiful poetries for North Mountain. My favorite is “Hong Hua Qing Shui Wang Gao Lou, Yi Ye Shan Tan Wang Yue Zhou”.
